Phoenix High School sets a clear academic expectation for its students, urging them to acquire a minimum of 12 credits each grading period. These credits are divided into six core and six recovery credits, forming a pivotal benchmark for maintaining eligibility at the school. Falling short of this credit requirement at the conclusion of any grading period can pose a significant risk to a student's continued enrollment at Phoenix. In such cases, students may face the prospect of returning to their original home school or even being referred to Adult Education as an alternative path.

Silicon Valley Career Technical Education (SVCTE): 

• 15 elective credits per semester

Cyber High:

• 1 course = 5 credits

• Core & elective courses available 

Credit Acquisition Recovery Packets (CAR): 

• Textbook assignments

• 0.5-2 credits per packet 

Work Experience: 

• 180 hours = 5 credits per semester

After-Lunch Recovery:

• 15 hours = 1.0 elective credit

• Max of 10 credits in one semester only

Adult-Ed (Evening School)

• 5 credits each class; one evening a week
